Clinicians, developers, business professionals, and designers in and around Brisbane! You're invited to participate in Metro North Hospital and Health Service's Metro North IT Frail & Elderly Hackathon 2017. Take up Metro North's challenge -- in one day to build six applications that improve the outcome and experience for frail and elderly people visiting the hospital. You'll participate in a team lead by a Metro North IT team leader on one of the following application ideas:

Get ready for the Second MNIT Hackathon 2017!
YOU’RE INVITED TO SUBMIT YOUR IDEAS FOR THE PLANNING SESSION
Metro North IT is now inviting employees from Metro North Hospital and Health Service to submit their ideas to our Hackathon planning session.
The Metro North IT Hackathon is designed for collaboration with both our applications developers and local health care professionals with a view to improve the outcome and experience for Frail and Elderly people visiting our Hospital and Health Services

Alternatively you can email your ideas to mnit-development@health.qld.gov.au
All ideas will be discussed and the outcome of the planning session will be the shortlisted ideas for the Hackathon.
At the Hackathon teams will aim to rapidly deliver the solutions on the day and present for judging during the closing address.
We are looking to fund the winning entry to complete the concept and also make the solution available to other participating QH developers.

RULES:
Applications Development will provide subject matter and technical support for the planning session. Qld Health Staff ID badges are mandatory for registration and are to be worn at the session. More details will be provided to registrants closer to the event
